Ability: Secondary - Poisoning
Skills:
1. Infrared: By picking up the thermal body temperature of living organisms, you're effectively able to distinguish what is around you.
2. Knowledge Keeper: Toxic and chemical knowledge is now at your grasp.
3. A Helping Sting: By draining the venom from snakes, bees, scorpions, or a patient, you are able to create a biological treatement for that specific venom. You are able to take that venom and dilute it down, using your knowledge of chemicals. From this, you make an antivenin, which can be used to treat patients who've been bitten. It requires the knowledge of what bit/stung them, and it can be stored for later use. But of course, it will go off eventually and more will need to be made.
4. Exhaustion: You're now able to sap away the energy of an opponent -effectively tiring them; they become weaker and less of a threat. More experienced secondaries will be able to transfer the power to themselves.

Soulbond: None
Mentor: None
Apprentice: None

Personality Traits:

Positive:

Dutiful - Quinn is a hardworking young cat. They will do anything it takes to fulfill their duty and protect their new tribemates. Being a scholar, Quinn doesn't actually have to learn to fight or hunt, but it is something they are willing to do, and when not at work, they may pester a cat their age or older just so they can teach them. Getting any cat, as long as they can hunt is fine for Quinn. Even if they aren't interested in the task at hand, they might do it simply because after all, it is their duty.

Humble - Quinn is very respectful, and will often claim to be less then what one may say. For example, if someone thought they were particularly beautiful, they would deny it, saying they are merely and average -even ugly- cat and often that the cat speaking to them is the truly beautiful one...

Intelligent - They are very smart. Educated, not so much, but Quinn hopes to learn a lot in the tribes, especially with the position of scholar, where they will be able to explore the world around them more than they ever could as a loner. What they know currently is a random assortment of things about their favorite flora and fauna; things they learned from observing.

Neutral:

Effeminate - Quinn sometimes wishes they were more masculine. Always being referred to as them or he, not she, by their siblings, which is odd considering their more feminine build, voice and even personality. Quinn is deemed rather self-critical, quiet and submissive, as is the stereotypical female.

Quiet - Reserved and reticent, Quinn rarely speaks about their emotions and past. Don't expect Quinn to continue a lengthy conversation unless it really interests them. Seriously, they are known to go on a bit of rant about their favorite things because they are a bit of a nerd...

Circumspect - Risk taking is not something Quinn does readily. They are shy and they worry often. If a plan has any problems, it is unlikely Quinn will go through with it, and if they do, they will probably back out at the last second. If of course, the risk doesn't pay, then Quinn might come to said cat and will try not to say "I told you so", while still helping them fix things up.

Negative:

Anxious/Nervous - Quin is a nervous jitterbug. They panic easily and if a lot of weight is put on their shoulders they may crumple in fear of messing something up. They also are fairly jumpy and can be easily scared by even the smallest of things.

Oppressed - Definitely submissive, Quinn will listen to others rather than acting on their own first. If someone else interrupts them or needs to speak, they will instantly shut up and refuse to talk until they finish and everyone else after.

Overly self-critical - If this young feline messes even the smallest thing up, they will criticize themselves and berate themselves to the point of even crying over their mistakes. Quinn doesn't believe they have any serious capabilities and the only reason they don't say no to doing something is because of their obedience. Even then...

History

Before Birth:

Young Fire Triber Azái was a well respected tomcat. He was handsome, brave and loyal. What was there to hate about a tom like him? Sakari, who was a few moons younger than he, was rude, careless and obnoxious. She was constantly teased for her stupidity while he was fawned over. They never really knew about one another until one day, when the soldier apprentice stumbled upon her being bossed around and bullied by an adolescent, he came up and tried to defend her. Luckily for him, he also had fairly famed, high ranking parents, and this got him enough respect for the older cat to listen. After that, things began to fall into place. They both found themselves quickly falling head over heels for one another, and having the same occupation simply sped that along. He was able to help her train at night and soon, they graduated, one not long after the other. It was wonderful at first. Then things turned sour...

Sakari had always wanted kits, so, just before the threat of the caimans arose, she found she was expecting. She waited a while, just to be sure, but the caimans were making things worse. One day, after a vicious caiman attack, she told him. Not only that, she said she was going to leave Nandryx. To keep the kits safe, she said, and he was furious. A coward, he had called her, disloyal. A cat who did not deserve his respect. His yelling was terrible, and out of fear and anger, she ran. It was difficult, trying to hunt when so close to kitting, but she had found a place to stay, and that was good enough. Not long after, she gave birth to five kittens; Lola, the biggest and firstborn; Claw, second; Grey, third, also daintier than her larger brother and sister; Atticus, the fourth, small and skilled; and Quinn, then known as Crow.

Kithood:

Things were okay at first. Crow often tried to play with their brothers and sisters, who usually refused, saying they were weak and that they had enough cats in their teams, which was true, but disappointing to the young kit. Sometimes they came to their mother, telling her about this, but she said they should simply ignore them and entertain themselves, not wanting to bother with her kits too much. Crow decided to give it a go, and thought it was fun to watch the birds and insects. Their mother's distance to her kits was only just getting worse...

Apprenticeship:

One thing is for certain, Sakari is a terrible mentor. She was the sort that was easily broken, and that meant she broke more every time she saw her kits. That was why she was so distracted, and thus, a terrible mentor. Once the tattoos appeared on her kits faces she decided it was time. Not only did she teach her kits how to hunt, but a little about the tattoos and how to fight. This wasn't much though. She really only taught the basics, partially to having forgotten a lot herself, partially because she didn't feel like training them. Thinking of the tribes and what she was like at their age made things worse for her. The five siblings, however, were a little closer now, training amongst themselves from time to time.

Adolescence:

By the time they had reached adolescence, the caimans had died, being replaced by a terrible drought. Things were difficult for the family too. Prey and water was scarce, but they made it through most of it, weaker than normal, but alive.

However, there were a few cats that left Nandryx in search of water and a better place to stay. One happened to be a tom who was not much older than Sakari. She recognized him well enough to ask if Azái was alive, as well as giving him shelter for a day or so. When she asked, he hung his head and said that he had died in the final battle with the caimans, brave 'til the end. She couldn't take it. Not long after the tom left, she became suicidal. Originally, she was rather depressed, always worrying about him. The only cat that ever truly cared for her besides her parents... Dead.

Sakari quickly went in an downward spiral, sinking lower than before. She constantly told herself it was her fault. It was her fault he was dead. Her fault her kits had no skill... Everything. Everything was her fault. It was this that caused her to find those deathberries. One day, her kits decided to head out on a hunt. This was a bad choice because it gave her the perfect opportunity. She sat in the center of their little "camp", a leaf placed in front of her. On it, was a small pile of berries. Bright red and juicy, she picked them up, slowly chewing through the soft flesh. This was when Crow happened to return. They watched helplessly as their mother convulsed on the floor. They dropped their catch and raced over to her. The shuddering and coughing had already slowed. Crow still remembers this, lying down next to her, her last breaths nothing more than wheezes as bright red, translucent liquid oozed from her mouth. Crow gently wiped her clean, hoping to grieve and bury her once the others returned. The first one to do so was Lola.

Lola could be considered big and nasty, but she also had a kind heart, and a deep love for her mother. Seeing Crow there, the brightly colored juice sticking to their paws, made her furious. She roared at her littermate, claiming they should never have been born, calling them a monster, a murderer.  She slashed at Crow's face for they ignored her, still weeping. Crow was shocked, especially when Lola slashed at her throat, saying they should have been put to rest sooner. Luckily for Crow, the others returned, Claw ready to attack, Atticus trying to pull Lola away and Grey simply watching in horror.  Atticus, being the sensible one, tried to calm them. Lola backed off, but refuse to treat her sibling with any respect. "It killed our mother. Do you really think I will act hospitable to a murderer? Especially the one that killed our mother?!" Those were the words she used in her defense, refusing to admit Crow is not guilty and that they should just move on...

Adulthood:

Being unsure of their hunting skills, Crow stayed for a while longer. Lola's berating was getting to them though. Once, both Lola and Claw attacked them. Crow ran before they could gain any serious injuries, but this time they weren't going to come back. After a while of wandering and observing, Crow found the tribes. Whether they accept them has yet to be decided...

Roleplay sample:

This is a roleplay between me and @faIIingstars for @ClansOf-The-Valley
The characters used are Shadowtalon (me) and Ivysplash (faIIing)

There she was. Peeking up out of the water to then be dragged back down again. Even a calm, quiet tom like himself couldn't help but quietly curse as she tried to come closer. He slowed down. His endurance was not sub par like it should be for a BreezeClanner. He was fast, but he couldn't stay that way. Gritting his teeth, he ran further. Wait... He was level with her! Reaching out with a paw, he tried to grab her with his claws. Shadowtalon couldn't reach her with his scruff, not yet at least.

"Can you hear me...?", he called.

What was he thinking asking that? No. He had to help her, not call at her aimlessly. Leaping into the water, he reached for her scruff yet again. Got it! He dragged her ashore and flopped down next to her. In his three short years on this planet, he had never tried to save a cat from drowning, and boy was he bad at it... At least she was still breathing...

Just to keep you off the anxiety list, the red zero merely means that they haven't replied/messaged you yet. So no need to fret :D
